This chair is the Southwell fixed armchair which is made by Celebrity Furniture. It has definite contemporary overtones emphasised by the flat topped curved dipping arms and high back cushion with angular corners.
The chair can be upholstered in a wide choice of both fabric or leather coverings across a wide spectrum of colours. So it is easy to find something to suit any homes decor. If upholstered in fabric the seat interior is made from Mammoth foam which has pressure relieving properties and can be zero rated for VAT. If upholstered in leather then highly resilient foam is used in the seat area. The back cushion is filled with quality fibre interiors which offer good support to the back of the head & shoulders as well as the lumbar region.
A qualifying person is one that is ‘chronically sick or disabled’ which means :
- a physical or mental impairment which has a long-term and substantial adverse effect on their ability to carry out everyday activities.
- a condition which the medical profession treats as a chronic sickness, such as diabetes, parkinsons, dementia, or a chronic illness which necessitates a complicated medication regime.
- who is terminally ill.
It does not include an elderly person who is not disabled or chronically sick or any person who’s only temporarily disabled or incapacitated, such as with a broken limb.

We'd recommend castors for a carpet and glide feet for a hard or wooden floor.
